Graham Hitchen is a British-American photographer based in the Orlando area, specialising in motorsport and large-format aviation. His work sits at the intersection of documentary rigour and cinematic visual language — images made by someone who has spent a career operating in high-stakes environments where attention to detail is not optional.

Before picking up a camera professionally, Graham spent decades working across military, intelligence and diplomatic contexts — postings that took him through some of the world's more difficult geography and taught him to read a situation before it develops. That instinct for anticipation, for the moment before the moment, is visible in his photography.

His archive includes work as personal documentarian to producer John Eagle during the production of Ridley Scott's Gladiator, alongside two decades of serious aviation and commercial image-making. His current focus is the motorsport world — specifically the GT racing scene in North America — where he is developing a body of work under the Apogee banner that approaches the sport through a cinematic and architectural lens rather than conventional sports photography.
